Hardwoods embrace cozy comfort and grand urban views

Mirage Hardwood Flooring

This gorgeous Belltown, Seattle, penthouse condo, 23 stories up on the water’s edge of downtown, features a rooftop deck with all the amenities for exquisite outdoor entertaining and relaxing. Recently, the interiors underwent a transformation to create a seamless connection between the open inside and the breathtaking floor-to-ceiling view. This magical hideaway in the sky overlooks Elliott Bay, offering panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains and the iconic Space Needle.

However, the stunning view was one of many focal points of this project. The challenge was to find flooring that would not only replace water-damaged floors but also seamlessly integrate with the open design and, most importantly, not compete with the awe-inspiring surroundings.

After careful consideration, the decision was made to install Mirage Maple Nevada flooring. The new flooring choice represented an upgrade from the water-damaged hardwoods and a strategic design decision. The Mirage Maple Nevada not only exudes elegance and sophistication but also beautifully complements the expansive views, enhancing the overall ambiance of the space.

The installation process was challenging. A condo's layout often presents challenges, such as curved walls, concrete posts, and other architectural features that require careful planning and execution during the construction process. These obstacles can make installing flooring or other design changes more complex, requiring a skilled and experienced team to overcome them.

Furthermore, the high-end nature of these spaces elevates expectations for quality and craftsmanship. Clients who appreciate good design and luxurious finishes have discerning tastes and expect nothing but the best in their living spaces. This means that attention to detail, precision, and the use of high-quality materials are of the utmost importance when working on high-end condo renovations.
