Floor Leveling

What is it?
Floor leveling is the process of preparing a floor surface to ensure that it is flat and even. It is typically done before installing new flooring materials like tiles, hardwood, or carpet. The floor leveling process involves adding a leveling compound to the floor to fill any gaps, cracks, or low spots. The compound is spread over the surface using a trowel or similar tool and is then left to dry and cure. Once it has hardened, the surface can be sanded or smoothed down to achieve a perfectly level finish.

Level-Up it's Necessary

Floor leveling is important because uneven or sloping floors can cause problems with the installation of new flooring materials. They can also create trip hazards and make it difficult to move furniture or other objects across the surface. By leveling the floor, you can create a smooth, even surface that is safe and functional.

What is Self Leveling?
If your home is at least 20 years old or has Gyp-Crete, there is a good chance, your home will need to be self-leveled which is the quickest. and best way to produce flat surfaces for installing ceramic tile, natural stone, or engineered wood flooring.
